2013 Mets Fantasy Camp Offically Underway!
Today was the the first day of the camp where all of our campers could check out their lockers and uniforms before they hit the field. After their journey from all over the world they flcoked to the complex to get in some work with our Mets Alumni before the games begin.
Later that night they enjoyed a wonderful dinner and speech(es) by John Stearns. He got them hyped up for the camp and we can’t wait for Day 2 which will include the draft and our first game. We are all looking forward to it!
The trophies are up for grabs!!!!! Let’s see who will bring these bad boys home!
2013 Mets Fantasy Camp is about to begin!
The 2013 Mets Fantasy Camp starts today and as we speak our campers from all over the world are on their way here to beautiful Port St. Lucie Florida-the home of Mets Spring Training. Our campers will experience a week of fun, great food, and tons of baseball! Just the way we all like it! We have a great list of coaches this year with new additions of Mookie Wilson, Doc Gooden, Ryan Ellis, Phil Regan, and Kevin Morgan. We also added Cliff Floyd into the mix this year who will be joining us tomorrow! We also have our regular coaches returning this year like– John Stearns, Kevin Baez, Anthony Young, Doug Flynn, Ed Charles, Al Jackson, Wally Backman, Tim Teufel, and many more great Met coaches and players!
Our campers will have the opportunity today after they arrive to go to the complex and check out their lockers and uniforms. They will also have the opportunity to head out to the fields and take some cuts and throw around with each other before the Welcome Dinner tonight. That’s when we offically kick off the camp and have these guys come in the next morning bright and early to play some baseball! Stick around more updates to come!
